King County is offering teacher workshops this summer on protecting students, ourselves and the environment from the effects of hazardous products. The teacher guide, which is provided as part of the workshop, reinforces inquiry, application, and systems science requirements and is also easy to incorporate into health, technical education, life skills and other subjects. The FREE workshops will be held in Renton and are for either grades 4-6 or 6-12 teachers. Teachers are welcome to purchase clock hours or college credit for attending, and teachers who use the lesson material afterward receive a teaching stipend. The workshop description is pasted below.
Please let pass this on to any schools, principals, or teachers that might be interested.
