• Curriculum News – April 26

    Dear Principals,

Last call for principal input on the March 19th Curriculum Deanery Day Online Survey! All of our deaneries have now completed their spring Professional Development Day so if you have not had the opportunity to provide your feedback through the online survey, you are welcome to do so by Friday, April 30th. We thank you for your wisdom. Just click here and select your school: http://www.seecelebrateandlive.org/surveys/curriculum-development-2010.php If you experience any technical difficulties, please contact Nack Athens at the general CSD email: csdoffice@seattlearch.org Thank you!

***Next week, we will be sending out an online 12 Gardens of Stewardship Survey to our K-8 teachers and principals using the AppliTrack email system. We will harvest the feedback on this year’s partnership with the Office of Parish Stewardship and use this data to target new stewardship goals for next year. Thank you in advance for your participation.

SUMMER SCIENCE WORKSHOPS: King County is offering teacher workshops this summer on protecting students, ourselves and the environment from the effects of hazardous products. The teacher guide, which is provided as part of the workshop, reinforces inquiry, application, and systems science requirements and is also easy to incorporate into health, technical education, life skills and other subjects. The FREE workshops will be held in Renton and are for either grades 4-6 or 6-12 teachers. Teachers are welcome to purchase clock hours or college credit for attending, and teachers who use the lesson material afterward receive a teaching stipend.

    Save the date!
