The test windows for 17-18 have been set. We listened to you and recognize the difficulty to get the students tested in a three week window, so we now have four weeks for each of the test windows.
To finish our year this year, we have extended the spring testing to cover the following weeks: May 1 - May 26, 2017. |

ESTABLISHING THE TEST WINDOW - INFORMATION ONLY Some of you have asked about the necessity of the testing window, and if we can extend it. Simply stated, we cannot. When we consulted with the principals about the number of test events, many indicated that they wanted 3 - fall, winter and spring. As a result, we had limited flexibility to determine these dates while considering the school calendar. A statement on establishing test windows from NWEA: Guidelines for test windows:
We have entered our last week of testing. From most schools, I hear good reports regarding the actual implementation. I thank you for your efforts to meet the many requirements this assessment has placed on you. You have done a remarkable job! Our next testing event should be so much easier. I keep you in my prayers during this final week of testing, and in gratitude for all you do! |

| Monday, August 1 Monday Update to the Principal | PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WEBSITE School MAP Coordinator invite all to Destination PD On June 16, the School MAP Coordinator should have received an email from NWEA asking you to invite your staff members to Destination PD. This is in preparation for the professional development we will offer throughout the school year. Please look for this email. If you cannot locate it (check your junk mail), let Kristin Dixon know. Remember, the invite went to the person who was named as the School MAP Coordinator. Initially, as you enter into DESTINATION PD, our MAP Coordinators will see the name, St. Paul School, because NWEA - MAP needed to have an active account to link under Archdiocese of Seattle in order to setup the Fiscal Agent dashboards allowing the OCS to be a super user. Please know that the account name of St. Paul’s has no effect as you enter into the local training materials or your local access. MAP Coordinators will only see the name “St. Paul School” during the registration step and you will not see any of St. Paul School’s data or additional information. Please go ahead and register and invite your users to register. |
