NCEA is sending a deserving Catholic school teacher who is a social media influencer to NCEA 2017 Convention & Expo in St. Louis, MO!
Are you a social media influencer? Do you use Facebook, Twitter, blogs, LinkedIn or other social platforms to discuss Catholic school education? Is your professional learning network on your social network? Have you always wanted to start a blog or begin a professional social media account? Now is the time.
How it works:
Overview: For ten weeks, NCEA will follow the progress of up to 12 Catholic school teachers who are making their own mark in the social realm of Catholic education. NCEA will provide a topic for each week and each participant will use social media to share, engage and inspire the online community.
The contest is open to teachers those who are seasoned in social networking or and those who are newcomers no prior experience necessary, just the drive to be creative in the social media world! Entrants must participate using Twitter and one or more or the following: Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Blogs, Periscope, Vine, Instagram, and/or Snapchat and/or other social media platform.*
Prizes:
1st Place: Registration for NCEA 2016 paid for by NCEA, 2 nights stay at a nearby hotel and $500 Gift Card* towards travel and other NCEA 2016 expenses.
Runner-Up: Registration for NCEA 2016 paid for by NCEA.
Third and fourth place participants receive $100 NCEA gift certificate to be used at the NCEA Store.
Social Engagement Round: The selected Catholic school social media influencers will begin their online networking on Monday, September 26, 2016 and continue for ten weeks. NCEA will be active in their efforts to increase their following, spread their messages and spur their engagement via cross promotion of their social strategies. All entrants must follow @NCEATalk on Twitter and cross promote their social media presence using hashtag: #CathEdSocial.
*This contest is no way affiliated with any of the aforementioned social media networks. Only Catholic school teachers from NCEA member schools are eligible to apply.
