August 9-12 (9:00-4:00 pm, M-F) and Sunday, August 15 (9:00 am-12:00 noon)
Led by the region’s finest Catholic music educators, this week-long camp prepares young singers grades 4-8 (treble voices) for the many Cathedral liturgies at which they will sing during the school year. The camp provides excellent training in liturgical music. Students learn how to sing, and develop their skills in music fundamentals, including rhythm and pitch. Priority enrollment is given to parishioners of St. James Cathedral, and currently-enrolled Youth Music Program students. A brief audition is necessary for new students. Spaces are limited and will fill quickly. Visit http://www.stjames-cathedral.net/music/youthmusic.htm, or call 206-382-4874.
