We have a two-week window for the annual Fall Data collection to capture student enrollment and more. Once the 2016-2017 archdiocesan data is captured, it is shared with the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA) to add our data to the national snapshot of Catholic schools. We are grateful for each school's commitment to track, verify and enter 'clean' data. In order to fulfill the compliance requirements, it may be helpful to review various data reports so you can study your patterns and see what areas of information will need to be updated to match the current reality of your school.
How to best prepare? Please pull your 2015-2016 records from last Fall's data collection so you can review all the areas of input and can start organizing your new information for the 2016 data collection.
Please review the attachment entitled 2016 - 2017 OCS Annual Fall Data Collection: Directions and Tips. This document has been shared with various school stakeholders who assist in gathering accurate data and information. All principals received this document at the August KickStart meetings and School Office Support Staff received this information last week in an email update.

Reports for School Leaders: Our dynamic databases allow us to gather data in real time so school leaders have access to data at various levels: local school data, PreK-8 school data, high school data, regional data, and overall Archdiocesan data. Access to these reports is immediate and based on the local administration's access level that have been assigned within the CSED (Catholic Schools Employee Database).
School leaders will find these reports in MyDesk
