New to MAP Assessment? All Day Inservice Planned for May 16, 2017

We prepare to welcome ten schools to NWEA-MAP for implementation 2017-2018. We begin this orientation process with an all-day meeting at the Chancery, Isaac Orr Conference Room, on Tuesday, May 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be included. We ask that you bring your laptop with you to the meeting. For the best and smoothest implementation, we ask that you bring with you the following staff who will be responsible for MAP in your school:

• MAP Coordinator - overseeing the implementation and the scheduling of test events. This person will have access to all reports and opening the virtual door to professional development for your staff (most often this is shared between the principal and another lead administrator)
• Class Roster File Coordinator - correctly rostering the students
• Tech Coordinator - checking and updating the technology infrastructure

In some cases, one person can cover two roles. Or the MAP coordinator can carry the information back to the school. We do depend on the information to be transmitted to the appropriate staff.
