Immigration Summit Summer Gathering 2017

What: A gathering to share what has been done and learned, to get the resources and connection you need, and to hear the latest information we’ve garnered from the Hispanic community.

When: Saturday, August 5th from 9:30 am - Noon

Agenda

1. Meet and greet: welcome table, light hospitality. 9:00 – 9:30am

2. Welcome and Opening Prayer 9:30 – 9:45am

3. Small group sharing: in small groups, share what your group has done, is planning, and/or is interested in; what you have learned; and what you might need help with. Record answers on flip charts and post along the wall. 9:45 – 10:15am

4. Gallery and Break: this will be an opportunity for you to review the flip charts and find out what other groups are doing. 10:15 – 10:45 am

5. Groundwork for Solidarity on Immigration: report from a recently completed special listening project with the Hispanic community throughout the Archdiocese. 10:45 – 11:00 am

6. Resource connections: we will reconvene to identify and hand out resources in response to issues and challenges you’ve identified. We will also hear short presentations from 3 or 4 organizations doing related work on immigration. 11:00 – 11:30 am

7. Closing Prayer 11:30 am
