With gratitude for your pastoral work in your community, I am happy to share with you that we will be hosting, for the first time in the Archdiocese of Seattle, a Safe Environment train-the-trainer session in Spanish. The training will be offered simultaneously in English and Spanish on August 10th from 9:00am - 4:00pm at the Isaac Orr conference room of the Archdiocese of Seattle with no cost to participants.
To register for the VIRTUS training, please have people:

- Register for the Train-the-Trainer session here: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f044eafab29a4ff2-train. We ask that people taking the training in Spanish indicate that in comments section.
- Mail the application completed and sign off by the pastor or pastoral coordinator to the office for Save Environment by email at sep@seattlearch.org, fax (206) 382-4267 o regular mail to:

Again, this is not the required Safe Environment class for ministers/volunteers, this is the training for people to be able to teach the Safe environment class later. Encouraged to attend are:
- All who were trained with Praesidium and haven’t renewed their training with Virtus to be able to continue to teach the class
- Those who have already taken the Safe Environment requirement class and wish to take another step in serving their community (participants do not need a Social Number to be facilitators).

Aclaro que esta No es la clase regular de Ambiente Seguro requerida para ministros/servidores, es la capacitación para que los asistentes luego puedan impartir la clase de Ambiente Seguro. Animamos a que asistan personas que:
- ya estaban capacitados para dar la clase antes con Praesidium y no renovaron su capacitación para poder impartirla con la nueva compañía, Virtus
- ya tomaron la clase inicial de Ambiente Seguro, Protegiendo los Niños de Dios y desean dar un paso más en el servicio a su comunidad (no es necesario tener número de seguro social para ser facilitadores)
