    Concerning: WFIS notice concerning Federal Government compliance with RED FLAG RULE


    Last week many principals received an email from WFIS directing them to the web site for compliance with a new Federal regulation called the RED FLAG RULE. This stated the requirement for businesses and organizations to implement a written Identity Theft Prevention Program to detect the warning signs – or “red flags” – of identity theft in their day-to day operations.

    You may disregard this notice at this time.

    Ed Williams, Parish Financial Services and Pat Crowley will be working in the next few weeks to clarify what we need to do to comply with this regulation. In the FALL you will be receiving information and any necessary paperwork to be used if necessary. Do not proceed to implement anything prior to the notice from the Archdiocese so that all can be compliant and using the approved forms when/if necessary.
