Featured Presenter: Dr. Karen Mapp
Come learn all about the latest research and the Dual Capacity Building Framework, a compass for effective engagement, from its creator Dr. Karen Mapp. She is a Senior Lecturer on Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Faculty Director of the Harvard Education Policy and Management Master’s Program, special consultant to the U.S. Department of Education, Board member of the National Association of Family, School and Community Engagement, and a nationally recognized expert on the power of equitable engagement and equal partnerships. She is the author and co-author of a vast number of articles and books including the landmark “A New Wave of Evidence,” “Beyond the Bake Sale,” and “A Match on Dry Grass.”
