Engaged Church workshops October 11, 12, 13, 14, 15

‘Church Engagement’ is an exciting concept and program that has shown to be successful in bringing about spiritual renewal and engaging Catholic people more fully into the life of the Church, in all aspects of Stewardship; time, talent and treasure.

We are pleased to announce that nationally recognized Strengths and Church Engagement leaders Msgr. Bill Hanson of New York and Leisa Anslinger of Indianapolis have agreed to come to Seattle and conduct these informative and practical workshops to help your parish staff and key lay leaders move toward Church Engagement!

Two Day Workshop – Knowing & Leading Parishioner Engagement
‘Strengths’ based training and development for parish staffs, plus tactics and spiritual dynamics of Church Engagement, that when implemented, will increase parishioner engagement
When: Mon, & Tues., October 11^th & 12^th – St. John the Baptist, Covington
Who: Parish staff, including pastors, and lay leaders
Why: Learn your individual ‘talent themes’ and the talent-based approach to cohesive teamwork dynamics. Parish staffs will have an opportunity to work separately as a unit, apart from other parish staffs. Learn how to use the science of Church Engagement to foster spiritual renewal, the importance of research-based planning, and the specific tactics that lead to fuller engagement in every aspect of parish life.

Two Day Workshop - Knowing and Leading Parishioner Strengths
Intensive ‘Strengths’ exploration and study, in the context of Stewardship of Talent
When: Wed. & Thurs , October 13^th & 14^th – St. John the Baptist, Covington
Who: Parish staff & key lay leaders who possess some experience in small group facilitation
Why: Become fully equipped to serve as a ‘Strengths Advocate’ for small groups in your parish.

Strengths & Engagement Summit
Aone day general presentation, covering much of the information presented at the 2009 and 2010 Stewardship Formation Days & the Strengths and Engagement Summit in August 2009.
When: Fri., October 15^th – St. John the Baptist, Covington.
Who: For pastors, parish staff & lay leaders who missed the 2009 or 2010 Stewardship Formation Days or the General Summit recap in August 2009. If you attended either of these you do not need to attend this Friday workshop as a pre-requisite.
Why: Learn the basics about the ‘Engaged Church’ & ‘Living Your Strengths.’
