For Teachers
Distinguished Fulbright Awards in Teaching Program: Administered by the Academy for Educational Development, this program is open to elementary and secondary teachers.
Program dates: Three- to six-month programs from August 2011 through August 2012
Application deadline: December 15, 2010
Educational Seminars for Teachers: Administered by the American Councils for International Education. Programs in Thailand and Uruguay are open to elementary and secondary educators. Programs in India, Italy and Greece are for secondary educators.
Program dates: three-to-eight week programs in summer 2011

Fulbright Classroom Teacher Exchange Program: Administered by the Academy for Educational Development, this program is open to elementary and secondary teachers.
Program dates: Fall semester 2011, or academic year 2011-2012
Application deadline: October 15, 2010
Intensive Summer Language Institutes: Administered by American Councils for International Education, this program is for teachers of Mandarin and Arabic including elementary and secondary teachers, community college instructors, and those enrolled in teacher certification programs.
Program dates: Late June through early August 2011
Application deadline: March 1, 2011
Teachers for Global Classrooms: Administered by the International Research and Exchange Board (IREX), this program is open to secondary teachers.
Program dates: Two week international programs in Spring/Summer 2012 with pre- and post- program professional development online and in Washington D.C.

For Administrators
Educational Seminars for Administrators:Administered by the American Councils for International Education these seminars are open to elementary and secondary administrators and take place in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Thailand, and Uruguay.
Program dates: three week programs for principals, assistant principals, and department chairs in summer 2011

Hosting a Mandarin or Arabic Teacher
Teachers of Critical Languages Program
Schools with existing world language programs in Mandarin and Arabic can apply to host a native language teacher from China or Egypt for the academic year.
Program dates: 2011-2012 academic year
Application deadline: January 31, 2011
