World Day of Peace message January 1, 2011

The Vatican has released the text of Pope Benedict XVI’s World Day of Peace message for January 1, 2011. This year’s title is “Religious Freedom, the Path to Peace” and the text can be found on the Vatican website in various languages: www.vatican.va/holy_father/benedict_xvi/messages/peace/index_en.htm.

USCCB and CRS have prepared a special flyer that can be used as a bulletin insert regarding the Pope’s World Day of Peace message: www.usccb.org/sdwp/2011-01-01_world-day-of-peace-resource.pdf. This is part of the Catholics Confront Global Poverty campaign.
