Discover Mathematics: All About Differentiation Strategies K-8th
Join your colleagues this fall learning new ways to differentiate instruction in the math classroom. This training will cover the following differentiation strategies:
- Developing Standards Based Assessments in the classroom to drive differentiation
- Inserting open ended “Questioning Techniques” to differentiate whole class math instruction
- Integrating Technology to differentiate math lessons
- Using Math Games, Activities and Problem Solving to differentiate student learning

Cost:
$120 per teacher per workshop
$220 per teacher (includes Workshop Resources of Grade Level Assessments, Games, Activities, Problem Solving Questions etc)
Where: Workshops are from 9 am – 2:30 pm held at The Mountaineers Building

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Torrey Volk, of Discover Mathematics, began her educational career teaching junior high mathematics in Seattle, WA. After receiving her Masters Degree in Educational Technology, she began coaching teachers how to integrate technology into their classroom instruction. She then served as a professional development consultant in the areas of research and development in Mathematics Education and Technology Integration. She currently works with schools nation-wide providing professional development workshops and trainings.
