The Ecuador Experience at UW

Each summer, UW Professional & Continuing Education offers a Summer Spanish Institute for non-matriculated students – particularly, current teachers of Spanish. Most years, the program has run in Antigua, Guatemala, and this year we are excited to offer the program in Quito, Ecuador. Maria Gillman, Senior Lecturer in the UW Division of Spanish and Portuguese Studies, leads the trip, and always earns rave reviews. Participants earn 6 UW credits in Spanish 493.
