God of Creation,
Please be with our sisters and brothers suffering around the world.
Especially at this time console our Japanese sisters and brothers who are living with the results of a devastating earthquake and tsunami.
Comfort those separated from their families and loved ones.
Bless the relief workers as they work with the survivors.
Protect those responding to the nuclear power plants and help them to prevent further harm.

Lord, help us to respond to the needs of our brothers and sisters in the coming days. Grow in us a greater sense of solidarity so that we may continue to help members of our worldwide family.
We ask this through your son Jesus Christ who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever.
