This program will connect the Church’s teachings on Social Justice with those on Sexual Morality. Course reading will include Morality: The Catholic View by Servais Pinckaers, OP, and how his theology helped underpin catechesis, especially the third pillar of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Central to all presentations will be Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body and the way it animates social and sexual morality. This program is designed for the leadership in secondary schools and for those involved in Senior High and Junior High Youth Ministries and religious leaders charged with moral formation.
Speakers for Theology of the Body will be from among the strongest leaders of our Archdiocese.
One Day of the Program will be Presented by Dr. Tom Curran. Dr. Curran is director of Trinity Formation Resources, a non-profit ministry dedicated to helping Catholics understand, live and share their Catholic faith. Tom’s dynamic and humorous speaking style make him a popular teacher and conference speaker all across North America.
