New Employee Portfolio System

Dear Principals and Delegates,

Progress and innovation never stops for our CSD Tech Team. Last year, our focus was making our website SeeCelebrateAndLive.org (SCL) an all purpose resource site. In that tradition, this year we are launching an online system to track personnel more effectively. The current AppliTrack system works beautifully for our applicant candidates applying for employment within the Archdiocese of Seattle.

The challenge: However, the AppliTrack Employee Portfolio System is cumbersome because it is meant to be an employment tool, and currently, each school administration has little control over their local school database information.

The solution: The new SCL Employee Portfolio System is web-based and will give each school complete local editing control, while retaining the ability of an individual employee to edit their information online.

To start this transition process, we are asking each school to submit a spreadsheet (attached) with just a few key fields of information. Data from your employees with AppliTrack Portfolios will be preloaded for you on the spreadsheet. We ask that this school spreadsheet be returned to the CSD by Friday, August 19^th so we can prepopulate the new database. Because of the migration of information to the new SCL database, teachers and staff at this time do not need to update or modify their current AppliTrack portfolios. We will invite all personnel to revisit their portfolios in the new system during the October timeframe.

It is our goal to have Principal/Delegate editing capability as early as September 1^st and we hope to have Employee accounts set up for online login and editing by October 1^st. This is an exciting new project that should serve us well in the future as there are increasing demands for compliance needs such as accreditation, background checks, and safe environment training plus having the ability to uplift communication curriculum and professional development opportunities to our teachers.
